Fishing enthusiasts can cast their rods into the pond at Lions Centennial park as it has once again been stocked with rainbow trout and is ready for the season.
With the addition of the new t-shaped fishing dock installed last year, Alberta Fish and Wildlife and the Ponoka Lions Club have generously added 1,100 trout to the pond.
Fishing enthusiasts can cast the along the banks of the Lions Centennial Park Pond, as well as the t-shaped floating fishing dock installed in 2023. The new floating dock has handrails and an access ramp that makes it more easily accessible to people with mobility challenges.
