Blackfalds RCMP along with the RCMP Central Alberta District GIS Unit continue to investigate the fatal hit and run collision that occurred south of the McKenzie Industrial Business Park on Range Road 273 on July 6, 2022. RCMP continue to receive tips from the public. The investigation progresses however, the RCMP have yet to identify the vehicle involved. RCMP would like to provide an updated description of the suspect vehicle based on what we know today.
The vehicle is described as:
- A dark coloured older model sedan
- Low end after market rims
- A poor quality home done paint job Dark grey or black matte; poor paint job
- Significant front end damage, specifically to the windshield
