On Oct. 16, 2023, at approximately 1:15 a.m., Olds RCMP were alerted to a break and enter in progress at a local business, located in the 6500 block of 48 Avenue. Security reported that two male suspects were on site in a black car. RCMP attended and attempted to stop the suspect vehicle, however, it fled the scene. Nothing was reported missing from the business.
Shortly after, RCMP received a report of a vehicle on fire at the College; this was the same vehicle which fled shorty before. Suspects then stole another car and fled again.
