At a red carpet awards ceremony on October 21, the Central Alberta Film Festival recognized excellence in film by giving 14 awards to filmmakers and actors from across Canada. Nine of the awards went to Alberta films.

Best Female Actor

Amanda McEwan in "Outrunners" - Vancouver

 

Best Supporting Male Actor

Morgan LeBlanc in "Toy Train" - Edmonton

 

Best Supporting Female Actor

Tymika Tafari in "Chateau Laurier - Season 2" - Toronto
