The Red Deer RCMP responded to call of shots fired in the area of 61 Avenue and 63 A Street.
The Red Deer RCMP General Investigative Section (GIS) with the assistance of the RCMP Emergency Response Team resolved the event without incident.
Red Deer RCMP continue to investigate.There is no risk to the public. No further information can be shared at this time.

Red Deer RCMP are currently responding to a police incident in the area of 61 Avenue and 63 A Street. Police are asking residents to avoid the area as it will remain blocked during the investigation. There is no immediate threat to the public.
Police ask that residents refrain from posting photos of officers on social media.
