The Edmonton Oilers are now moving onto round-three of the NHL playoffs and the Western Conference Finals.

Game one of the best-of-seven series against The Stars goes tomorrow night in Dallas at 6:00 pm.

Oilers fans in Central Alberta have mixed feelings on how their team will do.

Jeff Demers, a long time fan since the early 80's, says he is not so sure. "I'm a diehard Oilers fan, but I just think that Dallas is too strong for Edmonton this year. Dallas have such a deep team this season. My prediction is Dallas 4, Oilers 2."

Eamon McCann, owner of Gull Lake Golf Course and Terry Morris, Service Manager at Turple Brothers in Red Deer, are Oilers Super fans.

They are both predicting a Round 3 Oilers win in 7 games. Terry predicts the game 1 score will be 3-2 Oilers in overtime and Eamon thinks it will be 4-2 Oilers.

When it comes to superstitions, Eamon has none, but Terry must wear the away jersey when the Oilers are on the road and the home jersey when they return to Edmonton.

As for who needs to be at their best for an Oilers win, they both agree Skinner needs to be his best and the bottom 6 players need to raise their game.  And although they have both been critical of Evan Bouchard, they are now both fans of the Bouch Bomb!
