As part of its commitment to being a welcoming, inclusive and caring community, the Town of Ponoka will recognize and celebrate Pride Month by once again projecting the pride colours onto the outside of the Ponoka Civic Centre in June from sunset until sunrise each evening beginning Monday, June 3.

“Projecting the pride colours onto the outside of the Ponoka Civic Centre is an act of celebrating Ponoka’s diversity,” said Ponoka Mayor Kevin Ferguson.

The only days on which the pride colours won’t be projected onto the building are June 7 to 9. On those days, the Ponoka Civic Centre will be lit up with green lights to celebrate Boys and Girls Club Wolf Creek in Ponoka and BGC Club Day.
