Red Deer drivers can expect multiple delays with construction

Motorists are advised of upcoming traffic disruptions as crews begin road infrastructure improvements. Motorists and pedestrians should expect traffic delays in the following areas on Wednesday, May 29 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

• 48 Street from 47 Avenue to end (east of 46 Avenue)
• 46 Avenue from 49 Street to 48 Street
• 55 Avenue from 41 Street to 43 Street
• 45 Avenue from Mackenzie Trails to 60m south of 67 Street bridge

Work will continue on Thursday, May 30 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at:

• 48 Street from 47 Avenue to end (east of 46 Avenue)
• 46 Avenue from 49 Street to 48 Street
• 55 Avenue from 41 Street to 43 Street

Detours will be in place and drivers are reminded to plan an alternate route during the closure.

Drivers are reminded to slow down when approaching or driving in construction areas and obey all signs. Your patience and cooperation are greatly appreciated.
