The Sylvan Lake Gulls have swept the Lethbridge Bulls in their WCBL West Division Semi-Final.
Even on the road, the Gulls batting was just too much for the hometown Lethbridge Bulls Tuesday night at Spitz Stadium. Sylvan Lake got homeruns from Jonah Weisner and Chase Rodriguez to add to their 14 hit night.
Caden Cline was the winning pitcher with 4 innings pitched and 4 strikeouts.
The Okotoks Dawgs also won last night sweeping the Fort MacMurray Giants. This means the Gulls and Dawgs will now play in the WCBL West Division Conference Final..
Game one will go this Friday, (August 11th), at Seaman Stadium in Okotoks, with game two Saturday at Gulls Field in Sylvan Lake. Both games start at 7:05 pm. (If the series is tied, game three will be back in Okotoks on Sunday)
