On Feb. 7, 2024, at around 8:57 p.m., Three Hills RCMP responded to a hit and run collision involving a pedestrian on 6 Avenue N in Three Hills.

During the course of the investigation, Three Hills RCMP received a tip from the public that resulted in officers locating the suspect vehicle. RCMP attended the location where they identified and arrested the suspect driver.

A 40-year-old female resident of Three Hills has been charged with failing to stop after an accident resulting in bodily harm.

The female was released from custody and schedule to appear in Alberta Court of Justice in Drumheller on April 19, 2024.
