The Central Alberta Film Festivals will be happening this week from October 18th to 21st. The films will be shown at Carnival Cinemas in Red Deer but a gala ceremony will take place at the Red Deer Resort and Casino.
The awards gala is a red carpet black tie event that celebrates the award-wining selections this year.
“The gala is a rare opportunity for a real formal night out for Central Albertans, and an opportunity for people in the film industry to network. Of course, it’s also an evening of great entertainment and great food,” said Ranjit Mullakady, CAFF president.
Tickets for the gala are $100 and can be found at www.cafilmfestival.ca. Purchasing a table of eight for the Gala includes eight day passes to the screenings.
