On Saturday afternoon, between 12 noon and 1:30 pm, a white trailer containing clothing and accessories for the Trenville RP Elks Gowns for Grads program was stolen in Elnora.
The trailer was holding the entire contents of the 2024 program including over 500 dresses, 100 suits, 10 dress racks, mirrors, shoes and many accessories. The dresses are stored in red and blue coloured tote boxes. There are 15 boxes on the trailer.
"To say we are devasted is an understatement. We have graduates and their families that rely on this program for one of the biggest days of their lives."
The trailer is described as:
- 12' by 6'
- License plate number 4491-37
- ramp-style back door
- I "love" Alberta Beef sticker on the back door
