UPDATE: Scene cleared (Motor vehicle collision south of Lacombe on Highway 2A)

The incident has been cleared and is no longer causing delays. 

4:34 PM January 25, 2024:  

The Lacombe Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services are on the scene of a motor vehicle collision on Highway 2A south of Lacombe heading south towards Blackfalds.  

The collision appears to have involved two vehicles including a pick-up truck and an SUV. The pick-up truck is in the ditch with damage.  

Traffic is slowed heading south of Lacombe but still moving at this time.
