Canadian rock legend and icon, Myles Goodwyn has passed away at age 75.
Goodwyn, one of earliest members of April Wine, died today (December 3rd) in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
April Wine is one of Canada's biggest selling bands, with sales of over 10 million recordings worldwide. The band would release 16 studio albums, many of which would sell gold or platinum in Canada.
The video for the song "Just Between You and Me" was the first ever Canadian video to be played on MTV.
April Wine was inducted into The Canadian Music Hall of Fame at the Juno awards in 2010.
In December 2022, Goodwyn announced that he would no longer be touring with April Wine due to health issues. He was very open about his battle with Diabetes.
No further details on cause of death, or funeral details will be released. His family has asked for privacy during this time.
