The 27th Annual Innisfail RCMP CharityCheck Stop took place over the weekend and saw tremendous generosity. In total, $14,065.70 was fundraised in cash and cheques. The money will be going towards the Innisfail Food Bank, the Innisfail Christmas Bureau, the Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre, and the Youth Positive Assets Assocation.
Three truckloads of toys and clothing items were collected for the Innisfail Christmas Bureau and 595 pounds of food were also collected for the Innisfail Food Bank.
The Innisfail RCMP also thanks the volunteers and local community organizations that were also involved with creating another successful charity check stop.
