Alberta RCMP Traffic and Airdrie RCMP have cleared from the collision on Highway 2 near Highway 581. One person has sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries as a result of the collision.
BACKGROUND STORY
Traffic on Highway 2 has resumed, however, road conditions remain poor and travel in the area is not advised at this time.
Alberta RCMP Traffic are currently on scene at a serious motor vehicle collision in the south bound lanes of Highway 2, near Highway 581. The collision is between a pick-up truck and a snow plow.
Traffic is currently be diverted onto Highway 581. Traffic cannot drive south bound on Highway 2 at this location.
Emergency crews will be on scene for some time. Please avoid the area.
