On Tuesday (November 7th), The Red Deer Public Library will be hosting a mobile hub event for the CNIB Foundation for Alberta and Northwest Territories.
The event will run at the library (4818 49th Street, Red Deer) from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Some of the events planned include:
- 9:30am – 10:30am – Welcome to CNIB & VLR
- 10:30am – 11:30am – Come to Work
- 11:30am – 12:30pm – Phone it Forward: iPhone 101
- 12:30pm – 1:30pm – Pizza Lunch (provided by CNIB)
- 1:30pm – 2:30pm – Advocacy 101
- 2:30pm – 3:30pm - Vision Mates & Peer Support Info Session
- 3:30pm – 4:30pm – Welcome to Smartlife 101
Also Tuesday night, there will be a Family Fun Evening at The Alberta Sports Hall of Fame. This event is free for children and youth with sight loss and their families. It will run from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
