The Town of Sylvan Lake has announced that it will be paving the gravel sections in the downtown core.

Because of the length of time this redevelopment project has been taking, there have been many concerns raised by residents and business owners in the area.

During the paving process, all downtown businesses will remain open.

Here is the latest plan from The Town of Sylvan Lake;

Centennial Street Redevelopment

  • Before 1913 Days: A temporary layer of asphalt on the 50 Avenue and Centennial Street intersection, weather permitting. This will keep downtown flowing smoothly through the summer months
  • Ask Centennial Street questions here

50 Avenue Redevelopment

  • Before Canada Day: A temporary layer of asphalt on 50 Avenue (49 Street to Centennial Street), weather permitting. This will keep downtown flowing smoothly through the summer months
  • Completing concrete work, including curbs, flower beds, and the concrete pad in front of the Library
  • Ask 50 Avenue questions here
