Blackfalds residents who have donated their time in helping the community are being recognized in the 2024 Town of Blackfalds Volunteer Awards.
Volunteer awards will be accepted until March 1, for a variety of categories, such as:

Carol Simpson Volunteer of the Year

Gloria House Mentor

Outstanding Group (Adult)

Dylan Stork Youth Ambassador

Leaders of Tomorrow (Elementary, Junior High, and High School categories)

Outstanding Group (Youth)
Each category recognizes individuals who have shown volunteerism by leading through actions, made significant contributions to the community, and demonstrated a commitment to mentoring community members and helping others.
Groups, organizations, societies, or teams are also recognized for showing leadership, innovation, and creativity.
