Over the next three weeks, from Sunday, May 26 to Friday, June 14, city crews will be performing a number of painting operations in and around the major intersections within the city. Work will be performed from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. as to minimize disruptions to traffic flow.
While all intersections will remain open while work is performed, intermittent closures to portions of the intersection will be required. Please anticipate minor delays or impacts to traffic.
On Sunday, May 26 at 7 a.m. until Monday May 27 at 7 p.m. motorists can expect traffic disruptions on 22 Street from Austin Drive/Inglewood Drive to 30 Avenue.
Also on Monday, May 27 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. traffic will be reduced to one lane. Drivers should expect delays or find an alternate route during that time.
On Tuesday, May 28 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., both lanes on Kent Street will be closed between Taylor Drive and Kendrew Drive. Detours will be in place and drivers are reminded to plan an alternate route during the closure.
Drivers are reminded to slow down when approaching or driving in construction areas and obey all signs. Your patience and cooperation are greatly appreciated.
