On June 4, at 8:18 a.m., the Maskwacis RCMP received a report of individuals with a firearm driving around Louis Bull First Nation. 

While police responded to the call, local schools were placed in a hold and secure status.   

Patrols were made, but the vehicle was not located.   

On June 5, after continued investigation, police executed a search warrant at a residence in Louis Bull First Nation.   

As a result of the search, RCMP located and seized:  

  • a rifle  

  • ammunition  

  • a taser  

Although charges have yet to be laid, police continue their investigation into this incident.
