Westerner Park has announced the conclusion of its Annual General Meeting held on June 6, 2024, on the Westerner Park grounds. The meeting was marked by new appointments that are set to guide the organization towards continued growth and community engagement.

Tyler Nightingale has been re-elected as the Chair and President of the Board of Directors. With a proven track record of effective leadership and a clear vision for the future, Tyler expressed his enthusiasm about the opportunity to continue furthering the organization. "I am thrilled to have the opportunity to continue the work we began in 2023," said Tyler. "Our achievements over the past year have laid a solid foundation, and I am excited to build upon this momentum to strengthen Westerner Park's role in the community."

David Harvey was re-elected as a Board Director for another three-year term, bringing his extensive experience and commitment back to the board.

Westerner Park is excited to welcome Jeffrey Dawson as the newest member of the Board of Directors. Jeffrey brings a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to the community. "I am deeply committed to supporting Central Alberta, and Westerner Park feels like the right place to make a significant impact given everything they do for the community," said Jeffrey Dawson.

In addition to the new election results, Stefan Forschle has been appointed as Vice President of the Board. This marks Stefan's second year on the Westerner Park board, and his appointment to this key leadership position underscores his dedication and the trust placed in him by his colleagues.

The Board also bids farewell to Al Lucas, the outgoing Vice President. Tyler Nightingale expressed his gratitude, saying, "We thank Al Lucas for his significant contributions to the Board. His dedication and hard work have been invaluable, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors. The addition of Jeffrey Dawson to our Board and the appointment of Stefan Forschle as Vice President are steps in the right direction for the organization."
