The City of Lacombe has approved the construction of a new inclusive playground at Trinity Crossing. This will be the second accessible playground in the city valued at $419,985.

“The new inclusive playground will enhance the City’s service level in outdoor facilities and amenities,” Mayor Grant Creasey said. “By bringing in the latest playground equipment, we can help all our youngest citizens not only have fun – but also grow and prosper in our community.”

The playground will include a nautical theme as well as wheel chair accessible ramps.

A grand opening for the playground will be held in the Spring of 2024.
