New Year's Eve Family Pool Party

From 4:00-6:00 pm at The Ponoka Aquaplex

refreshments, belly flop contest, dive competition

Kids 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult

Kids 9 and under must be within arms reach

toddlers must wear swim diapers

Town of Blackfalds

New Year's Eve Family Skate with the Blackfalds Bulldogs

From 6:45 to 8:00 pm in Arena 1 at The Eagle Builders Centre

Must have a Blackfalds Bulldogs game ticket for your attendance.

Helmets are strongly recommended

Town of Penhold

Free Public Skating from 4:00 to 5:15 pm

Helmets are required for everyone under age 16.

Hockey sticks and pucks are not permitted

Rockin' 2024 New Year's Family Party

Ring in the New Year with family and fun! 

​As the countdown to a brand new year begins, we invite you to join us for a Rockin' New Year's Eve Family Party!

​We'll have a DJ, party games, dance lessons, pizza, and access to the museum and all of the interactives inside. 

​Here's what you need to know:

  • Time: 6 pm - 9 pm

  • Tickets: $65/Family of 4 ($5 per additional child)

  • Balloon Drop: 9 pm

Town of Sylvan Lake

On New Year's Day, January 1st, The Town of Sylvan Lake will ring in the new year with the annual fireworks show.

Unlike many other communities who have celebrations on the night before, Sylvan Lake has the ceremony on the actual day.

You can watch the fireworks display from anywhere along Lakeshore Drive.

This event will start at 7:00 pm.
