One home was destroyed and a neighboring home damaged after a fire in Lacombe Friday night.
At around 11:37 pm, The Lacombe Fire Department were called to a structure fire at 42 Parkland Acres.
Because of the size of the fire, just ten minutes later, Blackfalds Fire Department were also called in for a mutual-assist call.
Photo credit: Katie SchultzAccording to Lacombe Fire Chief Jason Fleming there was no one home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries.
The neighboring home did suffer minor heat damage.
