The Lacombe Curling Club will be hosting the Farmer and Farmerette’s Bonspiel this Monday, January 8. This will be the bonspiel’s 79th year in community.
48 men’s teams and 12 ladies teams will be taking part. Traditionally, those teams would be made up of three farmers and one businessperson from the community to help encourage connections.
The event will wrap up on Saturday with a banquet at the Lacombe Memorial Centre.
