The Red Deer Rebels' Jhett Larson scored in a shootout Saturday night to give the home team a 3-2 win over the Everett Silvertips at the Peavey Mart Centrium.
Maybe more important that night was Kai Uchacz scoring with 10.7 seconds left in the first period to make it rain toques and Teddy Bears on the special event night for the Red Deer Christmas Bureau. Thousands of items were thrown onto the ice for a great cause.

Next up for Red Deer, a four-game road trip that starts tonight in Brandon against the Wheat Kings. They also play Moose Jaw on Wednesday, Saskatoon on Friday and Prince Albert on Saturday. All games start at 6:00 pm.
