It’s time to get your animal licenses in the Town of Blackfalds. Any residents who own a cat or dog that are three months of age or older are required to register their pet annually.
Right now, residents can receive an early bird rate from January 1-31st. With the early bird rate, unaltered male or female pets cost $30 to register and spayed or neutered animals cost $15.
After January 31st, unaltered male or female pets cost $60 to register and spayed or neutered animals cost $45.
Residents in Blackfalds are permitted to have a maximum of three cats and three dogs for a total of five animals per household.
